About Trip

Mt. Kanchenjunga (8,586m) is the third highest mountain in the world. It is located between Sikkim (India) and Nepal border. The Mt. Kangchenjunga is also called Kangche Dzo-nga, Kachedzonga, and Kangchanfanga in local dialect meaningfive treasures of the snow. Mt. Kanchenjunga has altogether five peaks, of which, the main peak has the height of 8,586 m. It was first climbed by a British expedition led by Charles Evans. Budget Adventure Treks Expeditions has long experience in the field of mountaineering and organizing the expedition and peak climbing in Nepal including Mt Kanchenjunga. The route for Kanchenjunga expedition begins from Kathmandu to Suketar and then Taplejung, Mamankhe, Tamphudin, Cherang and finally at Kanchenjunga base camp. The best seasons to expedition in Kanchenjunga is considered to be April-May and September-October.

Day 02-04:Climbing Preparation days in Kathmandu, sort out permit & equipment

Day 05:Drive Kathmandu to Phidim Overnight in camp

Day 06:Stay in Phidim for arrangement of porters

Day 07:Phidim to Panchami by trek. Overnight in Camp

Day 08:Panchami to Doban by trek. Overnight in Camp

Day 09:Doban to Khewang by trek. Overnight in Camp

Day 10:Khewang to Yamphudin by trek. Overnight in Camp

Day 11:Yamphudin to Amje Khola by trek. Overnight in Camp

Day 12:Amje Khola to Toronto by trek. Overnight in Camp

Day 13:Toronto to Tseram by trek. Overnight in Camp

Day 14:Tseram to Ramje by trek. Overnight in Camp

Day 15:Rest day Ramje

Day 16:Ramje to Glacier Camp by trek. Overnight in Camp

Day 17:Glacier to Kanchenjunga Base Camp

Day 18-19:Free times at Kanchenjunga Base Camp for acclimatization

Day 20-50:Climbing Period

Day 51:Return treks to Ramje. Overnight in Camp

Day 52:Ramje to Amje Khola by trek. Overnight in Camp

Day 53:Amje Khola to Yamphudin by trek. Overnight in Camp

Day 54:Yamphudin to Khewang by trek. Overnight in Camp

Day 55:Khewang to Panchami by trek. Overnight in Camp

Day 56:Panchami to Ghopetar by trek. Overnight in Camp

Day 57:Drive from Gopetar to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel

Day 58:Stay in Kathmandu

Day 59:Final Departure to the Airport
