Detail Itinerary

Day 01Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon visit of the Swayambhunath Stupa, Old Royal Palace and Durbar Square. Overnight hotel.

Day 02Sightseen in KathmanduIn the morning visit of Pashupatinath and Bodhnath Stupa. In the afternoon visit of Bhaktapur and Patan. In the late afternoon, you will drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight hotel.

Day 03Kathmandu to ChitwanAfter breakfast a scenic drive along the Trisuli River to Royal Chitwan National Park. Lunch at the resort. Visit of the village of Tharu tribal people and Park Information Center. In the evening, a surprise maybe a dancing program performed by Tharu people.

Day 04Chitwan TourAfter breakfast, dug out canoe trip to watch the aquatic life, visit of the elephant breeding farm or a jungle trek program for 2-3 hours. After lunch at the resort, elephant back safari program. In winter and spring, you may take a jeep safari in option.

Day 05chitwan to Pokhara by BusA one-hour long bird watching tour early in the morning. After breakfast, drive (5 hours) to Pokhara. Check in hotel. In the afternoon stroll along the lakesides. Overnight hotel.

Day 06Pokhara SightseenDrive to Sarangkot for Himalayan panorama view. Drive or walk down to Pokhara. In the afternoon sightseeing of Pokhara Valley. Overnight hotel.

Day 07Pokhara to Kathmandu by flight Drive (6 hours) or flight (35 minutes) to Kathmandu. Afternoon at leisure for shopping. Overnight hotel.

Day 08Kathmandu to Arrive Paro [2250m / 7382ft] Flight to Paro From Kathmandu where the Himalaya Mountains offering spectacular views of the awesome peaks. After an arrival, transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon visit to Paro Dzong, built in 1646, and now houses government offices and religious institutions of Paro valley. Visit Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the country. From there we move to the Drugyal Dzong (Bhutan Victory Fort) built in 1646 to commemorate Bhutan's victory over Tibetan invaders during 1600s. In the evening, stroll through the Paro market and town. Overnight in Paro.

Day 09Paro-Thimphu [2320m/7610 ft]: 1 hr/54 km Early Morning after breakfast hike to Taktsang (Tiger's Nest) Monastery, Bhutan's most famous monastery situated at 3180 meters. Guru Rinpoche (spiritual master) is said to have flown on the back of a tigress from Singye Dzong in Lhuentse to meditate in a cave where Taktsang Monastery now stands. The monastery is perched on the edge of a steep cliff, about 900 meters above Paro Valley. After exploring the monastery, hike down to the Paro valley and drive to Thimphu in the evening, the capital city of Bhutan. Overnight in Thimphu.

Day 10Thimphu-Punakha [1250m/4000 ft]: 76 km/ 3 hrs After breakfast, visit the King's Memorial Chorten, the radio tower (for a great view of Thimphu Valley and Thimphu Dzong), and the zoo, which contains the national animal of Bhutan, the takin. From there, visit nunnery temple, National Library which have preserved an ancient manuscripts of bhutan, and School of Arts and Crafts ancient paintings of Bhutan. Drive to Punakha after traversing through rice field and along the bank of Punakha River. Visit Punakha Dzong, which is stunningly situated in between the male and female rivers like an anchored ship. Overnight in Punakha.

Day 11Punakha-Paro [2250m / 7382ft]: 130km/4 hoursDrive back to Paro. On the way, visit Chimi Lhakhang, which is a fertility temple dedicated to Divine Madman, visit National Institute of Traditional Medicine and Majestic Tashichhodzong. Overnight in Paro.

Day 12Depart from ParoDrive to airport for departure.
